Favorites
Save what is playing with the star and bring it back with a single tap — from the home screen or from the Discover tab.
Not the same as saved searches. A favorite remembers one piece of content you are listening to right now. A saved search remembers a search query and loads the stations again every time. Favorites carry the star, saved searches the bookmark.
Save a favorite
- Play a radio station or a station from My Streams. No star appears for tracks from a media server, Bluetooth or AUX.
- The now-playing bar appears at the bottom with title and artist.
- Tap the star there.
The star fills in, and the item now sits under “My favorites”. Tapping the filled star again takes it back out.

As soon as you save your first favorite, a My favorites section appears on the home screen.
- Play: Tap a card — it starts on the selected speaker.
- See all: The arrow on the right of the section header opens the full favorites page.
The favorites page under Discover
The Discover tab has a page of its own with every favorite. There you can:
- Rename: Give a favorite a name you recognise — the title a station reports does not always say what it is.
- Reorder: Drag an entry by its handle to where you want it. The order also applies to the section on the home screen.
- Remove: Take a favorite back out.
Where are favorites stored?
In your Bosman account — not on the speaker, and not only on this phone.
- Sign in on another device and your favorites are there.
- The app also keeps a local copy, so the section is there immediately even without a connection.
- Without signing in there are no favorites: there is no account to keep them in.
What exactly is saved?
What gets saved is the reference to the content — what the app needs to start it again: where it comes from and what it is called. Not the music itself. If a station disappears from the internet, the favorite stays but can no longer be played; just remove it then.
